    • The present invention relates to a device (10) for regulating the temperature inside refrigerators with at least two compartments, one for frozen (1) and the other for fresh food (2), each with its own evaporator (4,5) in a single series refrigeration circuit. Besides an ordinary thermostat (11), the regulator (10) also consists of a thermistor (13) inside the fresh food compartment where the air temperature is lowest. This enables maximum use to be made of the refrigerating capacity of the system with no danger of freezing the food in the fresh food compartment.
