    • An electrical shield connector configured to be attached to an end of a shielded cable having a conductive wire and a shield conductor longitudinally surrounding the conductive wire. The shield connector includes a connection portion that is configured for connection with a corresponding mating electrical shield connector and a cable attachment portion that is configured to longitudinally receive an end of the shield conductor. The connection portion defines a shroud surrounding an electrical terminal attached to the conductive wire. The cable attachment portion and/or crimp wings projecting therefrom define a projection that is configured to contact and indent the shield conductor, thereby mechanically and electrically connecting the shield connector to the shield conductor. The cable attachment portion may also define a knurled pattern in an interior surface of the cable attachment portion, such as a knurled pattern having a number of rhomboid-shaped indentations.

    • An open architecture HVAC module (200) is disclosed having a housing (202) defining an air inlet and at least two adjacent air outlets (230, 232). An evaporator (204) and a heater unit (206) are disposed within the housing (202). A cold air chamber (226) is defined between the evaporator (204) and heater unit (206), and a hot air chamber (228) is defined downstream of the heater unit (206). A partition (208) extends into the cold and hot air chambers (226, 228) from an interior surface of the housing (202) between the two adjacent air outlets (230, 232). The partition (208) is spaced from the evaporator (204) and heater unit (206). The partition (208) cooperates with the housing (202) to define a first mixing chamber (212) in fluid communication with the first outlet (230) and a second mixing chamber (214) in fluid communication with the second outlet (232). A blend valve (224) is disposed in each mixing chambers (212, 214). The blend valves (224) are configured to selectively direct air flow from the cold and hot air chambers (226, 228) to the air outlets (230, 232).
