摘要： This invention permits a coloured TV signal to be efficiently encoded by unidimensional or bidimensional transform, thereby adopting a variable frequency sampling clock and a digital processing of the sampled signal. In this way, one single analog signal can be changed into three signals having statistical characteristics similar to the component signals' (Y,U,V in case of PAL). Encoding through transform of the signals obtained with the system of this invention permits to reach high compression of the information to be transmitted. It is further possible to uniformly treat said composite signals and the component signals by means of practically identical hardware.

摘要： A method of processing information packets is disclosed which is adapted for a telecommunication apparatus (TA) comprising first processing means (SE), second processing means (PU) and memory means (DPR). This method comprises the steps of:
A) receiving an information packet from a telecommunication network by means of the first processing means (SE);
B) checking whether the value of a predetermined characteristic of this packet has already been processed by the second processing means (PU);
C) if the check at step B) is negative, checking whether this value has already been stored into the memory means; and
D) if the check at step C) is negative, transmitting this value from the first processing means (SE) to the memory means and storing this value into the memory means (DPR).
This method can advantageously be used in a telecommunication apparatus, particularly a layer-2 switch machine.

摘要： A method and device for translating telecommunication network IP addresses by using a leaky-controlled memory is described. In substance, a hash computer and a memory with locations for the keys (or addresses) to be stored and corresponding locations for the updating date of the key memory location are used in combination. Should a memory address (a(j)) such that KEY = K[a(j)] be not found, a memory address corresponding to an instant and/or to an updating date elder that a certain value is occupied. In the inverse translation process, the selected address (a(j)) is received and the memory is accessed updating again the time information by inserting the current instant and/or date.
