摘要： When a child seat is engaged with an anchor, there is a concern that an engagement member could catch a trim cover terminal behind an opening of the trim cover. In the present invention, an engagement member (24) that has a bifurcated shape in side view and has at a distal end an engagement opening (24a) for engaging with an anchor (30), extends to the rear from a seat back surface of a child seat. A recess (14-1') for stowing the anchor is formed on a pad (14-1) at a seat cushion rear end, and a trim cover (14-2) for covering the pad is opened above the recess of the pad. The anchor is fixed to a connecting pipe (16) via a bracket. A connecting member (40), one end of which is connected to a terminal (14-2b) of the trim cover behind an opening (14-2') of the trim cover and the other end of which is locked to the bracket for fixing the anchor to the connecting pipe, is wound around the connecting pipe (16) and stretched between the bracket and the trim cover terminal behind the opening, and the terminal of the trim cover behind the opening is drawn into the recess of the pad.

摘要： A radar sensor system and method for ascertaining whether an unattended child is present within an automotive vehicle. The radar sensor system carries out the method and includes a transmitter, at least one sensor, and processing circuitry. The method includes the steps of: illuminating at least one occupiable position within the vehicle with radiation of multiple frequencies; generating radar sensor signals from reflections of the transmitted radiation, a plurality of the radar sensor signals corresponding to different frequencies; and operating the processing circuitry for generating and determining if a first indicator value indicative of motion in the occupiable position satisfies a first predetermined criteria and, if so, generating and determining a second indicator value indicating a degree of repetitive pattern within the radar sensor signals, and determining presence of an unattended child in the vehicle if the second indicator value satisfies a second predetermined criteria.

The harness straps (136) are threaded through selected pairs of openings (148) in the child receptacle (102) so that portions of them extend behind the child receptacle (102). The adjustment mechanism (130,134) includes a tightening strap coupled to both of the harness strap (136,156) portions behind the child receptacle (102) and accessible to a caregiver so that pulling on the tightening strap tightens the fit of the harness straps (136) in a one-handed operation. A locking device is mounted on the child-support (104) device and secures the tightening strap in place until released for loosening the harness straps (136).
