    • Systems, tools, methods and computer readable media for visualizing a collection of graphs to provide context and focus. A compressed visualization is formed by compressing all of the graphs in a direction along a compression axis of the visualization. At least one of the compressed graphs may be zoomed to make a visualization (110) of the at least one graph having a greater scale along the second axis than a scale of the compressed graphs. The zoomed graph (110) or graphs (110,112,114,116,118) may be displayed along with the compressed graphs (120), wherein the zoomed graph or graphs are displayed in a same order relative to the compressed graphs and each other as occupied prior to the zooming. A user interface for use in visualizing a collection of graphs in an overall view while at the same time providing the ability to view detail with regard to at least one of the graphs includes a display (100) configured to visualize the collection of graphs in compressed form (120), and a feature for selecting a graph from the visualization of the compressed collection, wherein upon selecting a graph, the interface zooms at least the selected graph to make a visualization (110) of at least the selected graph having a greater scale along an axis of compression of the compressed visualization than a scale of the compressed graphs along the axis of compression. The selected graph (110) and any other zoomed graphs (112,114,116,118) may be displayed in the same order that they occupied in the compressed visualization, relative to the graphs remaining compressed and each other.

    • The invention refers to determining time characteristics of one or more data signals (D1) comprising a sequence of a plurality of bits, comprising generating a first trigger signal with first trigger pulse (TR1) and a second trigger pulse (TR1') being delayed with respect to the first trigger pulse (TR1) by a defined time delay, providing a first sample value (A1) in response to the first trigger pulse (TR1) and a second sample value (A2) ) in response to the second trigger pulse (TR1') of the data signal (D1), retrieving an edge model (EM1, EM2) describing signal transitions (E1, E2, E3, E4) of the data signal (D1) as signal magnitude over the time within a bit transition region, determining a first most significant sample value out of the first sample value (A1) and the second sample value (A1'), and determining from said edge model a first time difference (Δt1) between the most significant sample value (A1, A1') and a defined transition value.
