摘要： The invention relates to an installation for drying organic matter, especially kitchen and food wastes or other biological matter, including matter that contains packaging residues, napkins, straws or the like. Said installation comprises the following components: a) a vacuum mixer (M) having a closable charging opening for introducing the organic matter and a closable discharge opening, disposed at the bottom or laterally towards the bottom, for the dried matter, b) at least one vacuum pump (VP) for evacuating the air in the mixer to generate the vacuum, said pump being connected to at least one evacuation tube mounted above the maximum filling level in the housing of the mixer (M), c) a heater (H) for heating the organic matter, d) at least one condenser (K), connected to the air evacuation duct (AL) of the vacuum pump (VP) and having a cooling unit (KA) connected thereto to condense the evacuated air, and e) a discharge duct (AW) for the condensate obtained from the evacuated air by cooling in the condenser (K).

摘要： Volatile compounds may be economically recovered from solids present in aqueous solution by subjecting the solution to rapid separation where the volatilization occurs in a flash, spray, or fluid bed, or mechanically agitated dryers. Rapidly separating the solids from the volatile compound greatly simplifies the isolation of the volatile compounds from water. The methods have utility for fermentation processes, solids management, and recycling processes.

摘要： A tubular blank for producing golf club shafts comprises a butt section having a uniform cross-sectional configuration along its length, a tip section also having a uniform cross-sectional configuration along its length, and a tapered section interconnecting the butt and tip sections. Metallurgically formed rifling on the interior surface of the blank extends throughout the entirety of the butt, tip and tapered sections. The golf club shafts produced from these blanks have increased strength and stiffness which is a direct result of the interior rifling. A set of golf club shafts preferably is produced from a group of these tubular blanks with each blank of the group having the same length and the same natural frequency. Predetermined portions are then selectively removed from the tip and butt sections. The ultimately produced golf club shafts are frequency matched along a predetermined gradient and each shaft of the set has a predetermined stiffness distribution along its length directly related to the stiffness distribution of the other shafts of the set.

摘要： Method of selectively removing volatile components from a composition, comprising coating the composition onto a first substrate surface of a substrate (38), wherein the composition comprises a nonresident volatile component and a resident volatile component. The method further includes positioning at least a portion of the coated substrate (36) between a condensing surface (32) having a condensing surface temperature (Tc) and a heating surface (34) having a heating surface temperature (TH) that is greater than the condensing surface temperature, wherein the condensing surface (32) is in a spaced apart, confronting relationship to the coated surface (44) of the substrate (38) and wherein the heated surface (34) is in thermal contact with a second substrate surface (42) opposite the first substrate surface. In the method, the heated surface temperature (TH) and the condensing surface temperature (Tc) are such that the positioning step causes the nonresident volatile component to be selectively removed from the portion of the coated substrate. The method is suitable for forming transdermal drug delivery compositions (36).
