摘要： In some embodiments, a method includes producing, from an adapter, a first wireless signal characterized by a first communication mode with a computing device when a portion of at least one of a medicament delivery device or a simulated medicament delivery is disposed within the adapter. An indication is received when the portion of the medicament delivery device or the simulated medicament delivery device is removed from the adapter. A second wireless signal characterized by a second communication mode with the computing device is produced in response to the indication. The second communication mode is different from the first communication mode. The second communication mode can be, for example, a hold mode, a sniff mode or a park mode.

摘要： A medicament delivery device is present having comprising: a housing with a distal and an proximal end, the housing being adapted to receive a medicament container with a delivery member or with a connectable delivery member for delivery of a medicament. A drive mechanism is arranged to act on the medicament container for providing automatic delivery of the medicament. An actuator is interactively connected to the drive mechanism for holding the drive mechanism in a pre-tensioned state. There is a biased delivery member cover that is positioned at least partially and axially movable within the housing, where the biased delivery member cover is interactively connected to the actuator, such that when the biased delivery member cover is pressed against a delivery site the actuator releases the drive mechanism from the pre-tensioned state. Also included is a signal delay mechanism operably connected to said drive mechanism for generating an audible and/or tactile and/or visual signal indicating that the medicament has been completely delivered.

摘要： An autoinjector that automatically retracts a needle contained therein includes an injection assembly, having a plunger and a movable piston coupled to the plunger, a retraction assembly coupled to the injection assembly, and an end-of-dose visual indicator disposed within the retraction assembly. The retraction assembly includes an opaque section, a transparent or translucent section coupled to the opaque section, and a drug container having a hypodermic needle. The end-of-dose visual indicator is disposed within the retraction assembly such that the indicator moves upwardly from the opaque section of the retraction assembly to the transparent or translucent section of the retraction assembly upon full administration of a drug solution or medicine contained within the drug container. The end-of-dose visual indicator may be configured according to many preferred embodiments, among which may include a hollow cylinder, a split indicator ring, a co-extruded ring, and a multi-faceted polygonal cylinder.

摘要： The present invention relates to a torsion spring based automatic injection device for apportioning set doses of a liquid drug and which injection device is provided with an End-of-Dose feedback mechanism providing a user with an audible signal once the set dose has been injected. During injection, the scale drum rotates back to its “zero” position under influence of the torsion spring. This rotation is halted shortly before reaching the “zero” position by stopping means. The scale drum is thereafter only allowed to continue rotation and thus reach the “zero” position once the torque applied to the scale drum by the torsion spring surpasses a threshold value.
