    • A fuel assembly (1) for a nuclear reactor, comprising a number of parallel fuel rods (2) which are retained by means of spacer grids (3), arranged along the fuel rods (2), as well as guide thimbles (4), wherein the guide thimbles (4) are fixed to the spacer grids (3). The guide thimbles with associated fuel rods are further fixed between a top nozzle (5) and a bottom nozzle (6). In the top nozzle (5), through-holes (11) are arranged for connection to a top sleeve (8) joined to the upper end of the respective guide thimble (4). In the top sleeve (8), a first locking element (10) is arranged for cooperation with a second locking element (14) arranged for cooperation with a second locking element (14) arranged on a guide sleeve (12), which guide sleeve (12) is insertable through that hole (11) in the top nozzle (5) which corresponds to the respective top sleeve (8). The locking elements (10, 14) are interlocked in connected position by means of a locking sleeve (15) insertable into the guide sleeve (12). The locking sleeve (15) comprises a third locking element in the form of a through-opening (18) arranged in the wall, a corbelled-out portion (19) being arranged in the edge of the opening. The opening (18) imparts to the corbelled-out portion (19) resilient properties. The corbelled-out portion (9) is adapted, when the locking sleeve (15) is inserted into the guide sleeve (12), to cooperate with a fourth locking element in the form of an annular slot (21) arranged in the inner wall of the guide sleeve (12).

    • A method and a device for quantitative electrochemical in situ measurements in water at high temperature. At least two electrode pairs are arranged to determine simultaneously the contents of two molecules or ions, dissolved in the water, by means of an electrochemical measuring method starting from measurement of kinetics, adsorption or the diffusion behaviour of the molecules/ions in connection with electrochemical reactions on or adjacent to the metal electrodes. The electrochemical reactions for the molecules/ions are determined by a first electrode pair (21) consisting of two metal electrodes of an inert metal (211, 212), preferably gold or platinum metal, and a second electrode pair (22) comprising an electrode of an inert metal (221) and a metal electrode (222) which is provided with a surface layer (225). This surface is adapted to influence kinetics, adsorption, or the diffusion behaviour in connection with an electrochemical reaction of the second molecule/ion such that the sensitivity to the reactions of the first molecule/ion is essentially the same for both electrode pairs, whereas the sensitivity to the reactions of the second molecule/ion differs considerably between the electrode pairs, thus allowing the two molecules/ions to be distinguished.

    • A nuclear reactor with a reactor unit, comprising a reactor core with fuel assemblies (60) and flow-controlling parts. The reactor unit is included in a circulation system, containing a diffuser for water with a low content of neutron absorber during normal operation. The reactor unit is further arranged in a pool with water with a higher content of neutron absorber than the water in the circulation system. The water in the pool and the water in the circulation system is adapted, during normal operation, to form interfaces in density locks arranged at different levels in the reactor unit, and the water in the pool is adapted, upon shutdown of the reactor, to penetrate into the reactor unit via the density locks. According to the invention one or more diffusers (67) are arranged with an at least substantially vertical symmetry axis below each one of at least a plurality of the fuel assemblies of the rector core. The arrangement of the diffusers makes them easily accessible for exchange and for adjustment of dimensions. The use of several diffusers below each fuel assemblies allows the height of the reactor to be reduced.
