摘要： According to the present invention, a receiving station and method for receiving an aircraft at a receiving station is presented. The receiving station comprises a receiving bed (100), wherein the receiving bed comprises at least a compressor unit (110), an upper layer (120), and a lower layer (130). The upper layer further includes at least one air cushion (121), wherein the air cushion of the upper layer is configured to receive at least a part of the aircraft. Further, at least one of the air cushion of the upper layer and the lower layer is configured to receive air from the compressor unit. The lower layer is configured to float the receiving bed by blowing air through a plurality of outlets (131). Further, the receiving station comprises a drive mechanism (210), wherein the drive mechanism includes at least one of a drive unit (211) and a direction control unit (212). The drive mechanism is configured to move the receiving bed in at least one of a linear direction and a rotational direction. The receiving station may further include a controller unit to ensure the safe operation of the receiving bed in receiving the aircraft or a part of the aircraft, as required.
