摘要： The drawing press (10) according to the invention has a stationary blank holder (35) which is supported on the press frame (11). The blank holder (35) is assigned a slide (15) with a die tool (18), the slide (15) being moved via a slide drive with a blocking position. The blocking position is reached, for example, by a gearing (22) which, in the blocking position, does not transmit any movement from the gearing output to the driving servomotor (23) and/or (24). This is achieved, for example, by an eccentric gearing (25, 26) when the latter is in an extended position. In order to carry out the actual drawing stroke, the punching tool (34) is mounted in a vertically moveable manner. The assigned moving bed (32) is raised or lowered from the press bed (31) via a bed drive (36). A servomotor drive with a nonlinear gearing, for example an eccentric gearing, preferably serves in turn as the bed drive (36).

摘要： An improved method and apparatus (100) are provided for constructing and operating a linear actuator (108), and equipment incorporating a linear actuator, by operatively connecting a pressure biasing pneumatic arrangement (116) between the driving member (112) and the driven member (144) of a mechanical linear actuator for applying a unidirectional biasing force between the driving and driven members, along an axis of motion, regardless of the location or movement of the driving and driven elements with respect to one another along the axis of motion. The pneumatic biasing arrangement (116) is also configured, connected and operated to reduce the force which must be exerted by the driving (112) and driven (114) members in extending and retracting the linear actuator (108). The pneumatic biasing arrangement may further be configured for preferentially aiding extension or retraction of the actuator.
