    • A communication device of handling channel access procedures comprises a storage device storing instructions and a processing circuit coupled to the storage device. The processing circuit is configured to execute the instructions stored in the storage device. The instructions comprise receiving a first Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) signal indicating a first channel access procedure and a first priority class of the first channel access procedure from a network; performing the first channel access procedure with the network, after receiving the first PDCCH signal; receiving a second PDCCH signal indicating a second channel access procedure and a second priority class of the second channel access procedure from the network; and determining to continue or terminate the first channel access procedure with the network according to a comparison of the first priority class and the second priority class, after receiving the second PDCCH signal.

    • Methods, systems, and devices are described for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE). In some examples, a base station may allocate, to a UE, time and/or frequency resources for transmitting physical random access channel (PRACH) signals. The resource allocation may be apportioned based on a type and class of PRACH signal. For instance, a UE may be assigned a first subset of resources to transmit regularly scheduled traffic and a second subset of resources to transmit on-demand traffic. Regularly scheduled traffic may include, for example, sensor measurements reported to the base station on a predetermined time interval (e.g., 24 hour time interval). In contrast, an on-demand traffic may include an impromptu transmission, initiated based on a detection of at least one reporting trigger (e.g., sensing an abnormality at the UE).

    • A detection method based on a random access process is provided in the disclosure, which comprises: according to a received Random Access Channel (RACH) signal, obtaining an RACH time-domain correlation value sequence; calculating a first detection threshold Th i 1 for search windows of each RACH time-domain correlation value sequence, if a peak value of the RACH time-domain correlation values thereof is greater than the first detection threshold, recording the peak value and a timing location; if there are one or more sets of continuous search windows which all have the peak values greater than the first detection threshold in the search windows, converting the timing location corresponding to the peak value greater than a second detection threshold to be a timing adjustment quantity. The disclosure further provides a detection apparatus based on a random access process correspondingly. The disclosure can reduce a false-alarm probability of the detection, provide accurate and reliable uplink timing adjustment information for a UE so as to improve the reliability of accessing of the UE to a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, and lower a signalling overhead caused by processing the false alarm.
