摘要： An engine cooling system controls a cooling degree of an engine 1 according to an operating condition thereof by circulating cooling water through the engine. This system is provided with a water temperature sensor 31 for detecting a cooling water temperature THW1, a flow rate regulating valve 8 for regulating a circulation flow rate of the cooling water, and an electronic control unit (ECU) 30 for controlling the valve 8. The ECU 30 sets a non-control region and a first and second control regions, each centering on a target water temperature to be calculated according to operating conditions of the engine 1. The ECU 30 controls the valve 8 to open and close at a high speed when the cooling water temperature THW1 is in the second control region, thereby to allow the cooling water temperature to approach the first control region or at a low speed when the cooling water temperature THW1 is in the first control region, thereby to allow the cooling water temperature to approach the non-control region, or holds the valve 8 at a current opening degree when the cooling water temperature THW1 is in the non-control region.

摘要： In a diesel engine, heavy EGR lowers a combustion temperature, which greatly prolongs an ignition delay period and all fuel is injected within the ignition delay period, thereby performing a low-temperature premixed combustion. A crank angle from a fuel injection completion to an ignition start is made less than 15 degrees by advancing a fuel injection timing and/or prolonging a fuel injection period. As a result, an equivalent ratio distribution in a combustion chamber at an ignition start is controlled such that an equivalent ratio in the vicinity of a cylinder center is richer than in the vicinity of a cylinder wall and the equivalent ratio gradually changes from the cylinder center to the cylinder wall.

The combustion engine (1) is connected to an EGR system which has a return line (18) for recirculating part of the exhaust gases from the combustion engine (1). The return line (18) comprises a valve (22) and a cooler (21). The combustion engine (1) is also connected to a cooling system which contains a circulating cooling medium for cooling the combustion engine (1) and the exhaust gases in the return line (18). The arrangement comprises a sensor (23) so located as to detect a temperature (T) which is related to the temperature of the combustion engine, and a control unit (20) which is adapted to receiving from the sensor (23) signals concerning detected temperature values (T) and to closing the valve (22) so that the recirculation of exhaust gases ceases when at least one temperature value (T) exceeding a predetermined temperature (T max ) has been received.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for regulating the heat of an internal combustion engine for vehicles, with a coolant circuit and controllable devices for influencing the thermal economy of the internal combustion engine. According to the invention, a coolant temperature and additional operating parameters of the internal combustion engine are recorded, and the controllable devices are controlled according to the coolant temperature and the additional operating parameters of the internal combustion engine. The invention provides that a regulation of the coolant temperature and/or of the additional operating parameters ensues in such a manner that, by using a main characteristics map, an initial value for determining a manipulated variable is prescribed according to the rotational speed and the load of the internal combustion engine, and this initial value is corrected by a controller according to the coolant temperature and/or the additional operating parameters. This method is used, e.g. for the management of heat in efficiency-optimized direct injection diesel engines.
