摘要： A chassis arrangement (13, 14) has a steerable element, in particular a wheel (11, 12), steerable on tilting of said chassis relative to the ground (38). The steerable element is mounted on the chassis (10) via first (17) and second (18) links. The first link (17) is pivotally supported at one end on said chassis and supports a substantially horizontally disposed axle for said steerable element. The second link (18) is pivotable about an axis disposed parallel or oblique to the ground and substantially intersecting the contact area where, in the straightahead position of the steerable element the latter contacts the ground (38). Means is provided between said first and second links defining a substantially vertical axis which substantially intersects the first said axis at said contact area. The steerable element is swivellable about said vertical axis (35) to effect steering on tilting of said chassis due to pivotal movement of said second link about the first said axis under the moment created by the ground pressure and its moment arm about the first said axis resulting from tilting of the chassis (10). The chassis arrangement (13) has the special feature that said means provided between said first (17) and second (18) links defining said substantially vertical axis is disposed in the centre region of said steerable element, in the region of said horizontally disposed axle (21).

摘要： The present invention relates generally to skateboard and caster devices. More particularly, in a manner the invention concerns both dual wheel and single wheel axle supports of trucks and casters having a suspension mechanism for absorbing shock. The suspension mechanism is uniquely designed to progressively increase suspension resistance as forces acting on the mechanism increase by elastically deforming an independent arm in a manner to contact another arm or structure thereby transforming the independent arm into a dependent arm that results in a progressive resistance to a load until the forces are terminally engaged into a resilient abutment. A novel alignment mechanism functions to maintain the skateboard steering function.

The truck is formed of a plate- shaped member in a manner such that both ends of the plate- shaped member are bent to face each other and define center arms. The coupling part is locked to one center arm by a connector, and the other center arm has a pocket defined therein so that the support part can be inserted into the pocket with an elastomeric element coupled in the pocket.
