摘要： An electrically powered, rail-mounted patient or person lift comprises a carriage for displacement along an overhead rail and having a housing, the housing includes an electric motor having an output shaft and two belts suspended from the housing for the mounting of a patient or person support such as a sling or the like. The two belt receiving rollers, each has an outer cylindrical surface for receiving a respective lifting belt and co-operate with the output shaft of the electrical motor for rotating in opposite directions at the same rotational speed driven by the output shaft, thereby collecting the belts when rotating the output shaft in the one direction and discharging the belts when rotating the output shaft in the opposite direction. The housing further includes a power supply unit for the delivery of electrical power to the electrical motor from a battery power supply or alternatively, a mains supply.

摘要： A raising and lowering device (10), particularly suitable for incapacitated human or animal patients (2). The device includes a load carrying support (4) having at least one elongated arm (7) including a proximal end section (7a) and distal end section (7b). The arm is pivotable on the device at the proximal end section (7a) and movable by pivoting between an operating position in which the support is positioned for carrying said load, and a stored position in which the arm forms a graspable handle allowing an operator to carry the device.
