摘要： A foldaway passenger seat (20) for a utility vehicle (10) is provided. The seat (20) comprises a seat tray (22) which pivots around a single axis (X) between a substantially horizontal seating position and a substantially vertical stowed position. The axis is oriented so that a forward facing edge (22c) of the seat tray in the seating position becomes the lower-most edge in the stowed position and is longitudinally aligned with respect to the forward direction of travel. Advantageously, the seat tray pivots from the seating position to the stowed position in a single fluid movement.

摘要： The invention provides a seat stowing system for stowing in a floor recess ( 16 ) a seat ( 15 ) with a seat back ( 22, 23 ) tipped forward to fold it against a seat cushion ( 21 ). The stowing system ( 20 ) includes a seat back forward-tipping mechanism for automatically tipping the seat back forward and a swinging mechanism ( 30 ) for automatically swinging the folded seat back and the seat cushion as one. The seat back forward-tipping mechanism and the swinging mechanism are drive-controlled by a control unit, and the operation of stowing the seat in the floor recess is thus made electric.

A striker member (22) coupled to the vehicle latch assembly is coupled to the seatback and configured to releasably engage. The latch assembly comprises a catch plate (30) configured with two prongs (32, 34) and pivotably mounted on a support plate (26). A hook plate (40) with two camming surfaces (42, 44) is configured to engage at least one of the prongs (32, 34) with the hook plate (40) pivotably mounted on the support plate (26). The movement of the engaged prong is restricted in any direction when the hook plate is in a locked position.

摘要： The cab (2) of a combine harvester (1) is provided with an operator seat sliding control console (20). The console (20) contains a variety of controls (23) and is attached to the operator's chair (4) and may be adjusted forward or rearward, up or down so as to suit a variety of operators or to decrease fatigue. The control console assembly comprises a support plate (40) attached to the chair assembly (5). Attached to the support plate (40) is a forwardly and downwardly inclined plate (50). The console (20) is slideably attached to the inclined plate (50) by a series of parallel tracks (60, 61, 70, 71). The movement of the console (20) to the inclined plate (50) is controlled by a release mechanism (80). The operator moves a handle (81) which permits said tracks to slide relative to each other. This permits the console (20) to be placed in a comfortable position. Maintenance of the controls (23) can be accomplished by opening the control surface (21) by means of a console hinge (26). The console may also be removed by unplugging the wire harness (34) from the harness plug (33) and by removing four bolts (56) in the inclined plate (50).
