摘要： An injection device for injecting medicament in a patient comprises a housing configured to house a fluid reservoir that has one of a plurality of volumes of medicament. An injection conduit fluidly coupled to the fluid reservoir defines a fluid pathway from the fluid reservoir to the patient. A firing mechanism is coupled to the fluid reservoir and is configured to expel the medicament from the fluid reservoir through the injection conduit. 摘要： A liquid-transfer adapter operatively interposable between an injector and a vial is provided. The liquid-transfer adapter has an injector engaging portion configured for fluidly coupling to an injector and a vial coupling. The vial coupling includes a spike that has a spike axis and a tip portion configured for piercing a septum of a vial. The tip portion includes a plurality of facets that meet each other at one or more edges and at least one of the one or more edges is sloped with respect to the spike axis. The spike defines a channel extending therethrough in fluid communication with the injector engaging portion. A channel opening is defined in at least one of the facets and disposed without interrupting the edges.

摘要： A jet injector that includes a prefilled syringe. The syringe includes a fluid chamber that contains a medicament. The syringe also has an injection- assisting needle, and a plunger is movable within the fluid chamber. A housing is configured for allowing insertion of the needle to a penetration depth. The housing includes a retractable guard and an interference component, e.g., a lock ring, adjacent to the retractable guard that interferes with the movement of the retractable guard. An energy source is configured for biasing the plunger to produce an injecting pressure to jet inject the medicament from the fluid chamber through the needle to an injection site.
