    • A method of providing service experience analytics in a 5G network is described. The method comprises: requesting or subscribing, by a service consumer from or to a Network Data Analytics Function (NWDAF) of the network, service experience analytics for one or more Application(s) and/or service experience analytics for one or more Network Slice(s), via a request or a subscription; determining, by the NWDAF, whether to provide the service experience analytics for the one or more Application(s) and/or the service experience analytics for the one or more Network Slice(s), based on the request or the subscription; providing, by the NWDAF to the service consumer, the service experience analytics for the one or more Application(s) and/or the service experience analytics for the one or more Network Slice(s), according to a result of the determining. A network is also described. Determining whether to provide the service experience analytics may comprise determining, by the NWDAF, to provide the service experience analytics for only the one or more Application(s) or the service experience analytics for only the one or more Network Slice(s), based on the request or the subscription.

    • A telecommunication network comprising a network orchestrator 120, a plurality of network nodes 150 and a network ledger 140 for electronically storing data, the method comprising the steps of: the network orchestrator generating an instruction for reconfiguring at least one of the plurality of nodes; in response to generating said instruction, requesting and retrieving first status information from the at least one of the plurality of nodes; recording the instruction and the first status information to the network ledger; communicating the instruction to the at least one of the plurality of nodes thereby to effect the instructed reconfiguration; in response to effecting the instructed reconfiguration, requesting and retrieving second status information from the at least one of the plurality of nodes; and recording said second status information in the network ledger. Network performance may also be monitored from the status data recorded in the ledger and a reconfiguration may be made to reverse the instruction if performance has reduced. If performance has improved from effecting the instruction in a reference or clone portion of the network (i.e. a simulated change), the instruction may be effected in a portion of the network that processes live network traffic.
