摘要： The apparatus for cooling a high power electrical transformer and electrical motors uses thermally conductive material interleaved between the turn layers of a high power transformer and iron core laminates to provide a low resistant thermal path to ambient. The strips direct excess heat from within the interior to protrusions outside of the windings (and core) where forced air or thermally conductive potting compound extracts the heat. This technique provides for a significant reduction of weight and volume along with a substantial increase in the power density while operating at a modest elevated temperature above ambient.

The motor includes a stator element having an upper portion with a my plurality or coil units arranged at a constant spacing, and heat dissipating members coupled to the stator element at constant spacing, for externally dissipating heat generated by the stator. An improved cooling effect can be achieved by the provision of heat pipes having heat dissipating fins formed thereon, or by use of thermoelectric semiconductor cooling modules.

摘要： A cooling apparatus for an electric motor control unit includes a heat sink that contacts power modules of the unit, a concave portion continuously formed in the heat sink and a wall member mounted on an opening face side of the concave portion so as to be fixed to the sink together define a coolant passage in the heat sink. In the heat sink, a projection projects from a mounting surface with respect to the wall member, and is fitted into a hole of the wall member and fixed to the heat sink by press-fitting. Thus, fluid leakage from cavities in a thin wall portion at a bottom of a bolt, such as in the case of conventional bolting, is prevented.

摘要： The present invention relates to a linear motor with an improved cooling structure for cooling heat generated from a coil block of the motor. The linear motor includes a stator element having a stator element frame, a movable element having a movable element frame, adapted to linearly move along the stator, and a heat dissipation plate mounted on the stator element frame and the movable element frame, for externally dissipating heat generated from a coil block. Such a structure can prevent over-heating of the linear motor by dissipating heat generated from the motor coil to thereby cool the motor.
