    • A device for absorbing harness slack is disclosed wherein a leaf spring (resilient member) 37 is provided with a harness-guide member 34 which supports a curved portion 33 of a wire harness 32 slidably. The harness-guide member 34 has an upper surface (harness-support member) 38 curved throughout its length toward the curved portion 33. Alternatively, the leaf spring 37 may be provided with the curved harness-guide member 34 rotatably through a coupling member 36. Also alternatively, a protector protecting the curved portion 33 of the wire harness 32 may be provided with the curved harness-guide member 34 rotatably, and the leaf spring 37 may urge the harness-guide member 34 through such as a cap in a direction of absorbing harness slack slidably. Also alternatively, the upper surface 38 may compose a groove curved in a circumferential direction of the wire harness.

    • An electrical cable of all textile construction includes a first conductor of conductive textile material, a first insulator of braided insulating textile material, a second conductor of braided conductive textile material and a second insulator of braided insulating textile material. Such a cable, through being of an all textile construction makes it particularly suitable for incorporation in items such as garments, fashion accessories, upholstered article and other soft furnishings as it can be made very flexible, soft to the touch and of a required color. Furthermore, by making the cables using textile materials that have been developed for use in garments, the cables are capable of being subjected to standard garment care techniques such as machine washing in the home or dry cleaning. This means items, such as garments, that include these cables can be placed in the washing machine for cleaning, with no added risk to the wire, garment or washing machine.

    • A wiring harness for connecting electrically between in-vehicle units includes a pitch ribbon cable having a plurality of bridge portions and a connector having a boss and a press-contact portion. Each bridge portion includes first, second and third notches. The third notch is engaged to another boss of the in-vehicle unit in case of assembling the pitch ribbon cable to the in-vehicle unit so that layout of the wiring harness becomes definite. The second notch is engaged to the boss of the connector in case of attaching the pitch ribbon cable to the connector. The first notch is engaged to the press-contact portion of the connector with using the second notch as a positioning reference so that positioning of the pitch ribbon cable becomes definite.
