摘要： An I/O connector includes a top cover (10), a bottom cover (20) coupling to the top cover, a terminal module (30) positioned between the bottom cover and the top cover and receiving a plurality of terminals (90) therein, and a PCB (40) horizontally soldered to solder portions of the terminals. The top cover has a latch release button (11) at a front end thereof and a press button (12) in a middle portion thereof, a pair of stand poles (15) being formed under the latch release button. A pushbutton switch (50) is soldered on the PCB and engaged with the press button of the top cover. A latch piece (60) is assembled to the terminal module and has a pair of upstanding ear portions (64) over the terminal module for engaging the stand poles and a pair of hooks (63) extending out for engaging a mating connector.

摘要： A multi-function latch device which includes a latch base and a latch body rotationally connected to the latch base to rotate about a fulcrum between a latched position and unlatched position. The latch body rotates about the fulcrum to form first and second body portions of the latch body extending in opposed directions from the fulcrum. The first body portion includes a latch fixture rotatable with the latch body between the latched position and the unlatched position for selectively securing a module unit in the base unit and ejecting the module unit from the base unit. In the unlatched position, the second body portion forms a lever arm for inserting or removing the module unit relative to the base unit. The module unit is biased toward the base unit in the latched position to provide a desired electrical connection between connector plugs or plug sockets on the module and base units.

A pair of engaging bars (551) protrudes from the upper wall into the receiving cavity. When the mating portion mates with the tongue portion, the engaging bars downwardly push the tongue portion to ensure a reliable connection between the conductive terminals and corresponding contacts.

By forcing the press button, the latch release button moves downwardly to drive the two hooks and the latches to release from the mating connector.
