    • The present invention relates to a device for grounding feed or supply cables between transmitters or receivers and antennas or aerials, whereby at least one connector (14), through an aperture (8) in the outer sheath (10) of the supply cable (3), is in contact with an exposed portion (12) of an inner conductor (11) of the supply cable (3) for grounding said inner conductor (11) through at least one ground wire (16) cooperating with said connector (14). In order to obtain the grounding of the inner conductor (11) with few members, to mount the grounding device quick and safe and to reinforce the supply cable (3) at the spot weakened by the aperture (8), the connector (14) is provided on a bracket (17 or 18) which in cooperation with at least one other bracket (18 or 17) engages the supply cable (3) and is located thereon so that the connector (14) is directed into the aperture (8) and is in contact with the exposed portion (12) of the inner conductor (11), whereby the bracket (17, 18) with the connector (14) has sealing members (23) which engage the outer sheath (10) around the aperture (8) therein when said bracket (17, 18) with the connector (14) is located on the supply cable (3).

    • An anti-electromagnetic field antenna for cellular telephones (12). The antenna comprises a folded monopole driver antenna (14) adapted to be attached to a coaxial cable and means for shielding the user's head from radio-frequency electromagnetic fields. The shielding means consists of a ground-plane circuit (16) including at least two radials electrically connected to the shielding of the transceiver coaxial cable and means for providing inductance and capacitance to the ground-plane circuit. The ground-plane circuit is contained on an electrical circuit board and the radials are of a metallic foil composition and are printed on the circuit board. This specially designed ground-plane acts as a shield by absorbing and reflecting radio-frequency electromagnetic fields away from the user's head and eliminating stray currents and radiation from the transceiver and coaxial cable.

    • A modular patch antenna includes a first module and a second module. The first module comprises a first metal or metal plated radiating layer, a second, middle dielectric layer, and a third metal or metal plated ground layer; the second module comprises a frame that attaches to or fits onto the periphery of the first module and comprises a dielectric layer, or the same three layers as the first module. The first module provides favorable satellite signal reception. By superimposing the second module around the first module, the antenna provides improved terrestrial signal reception. Alternatively, the delay element can have a thickness of a multiple of one-half wavelength plus one-quarter wavelength so that the delay element acts as an impedance inverter.
