    • A switch includes a lower insulator body having a terminal bridging cavity, front and rear terminals spaced apart from each other and having contact end portions that extend into the terminal bridging cavity, a conductive contact member having an anchoring segment mounted on the lower insulator body and a bridging segment disposed above the contact end portions of the front and rear terminals, an upper insulator body mounted on the lower insulator body and having an actuator mounting cavity, and a pivotable actuator mounted in and extending outwardly of the actuator mounting cavity and having a pressing projection above the bridging segment of the contact member. Operation of the actuator enables the pressing projection to press the bridging segment of the contact member downward so that the contact end portions of the front and rear terminals are bridged together to make electrical connection there between.

    • An electrical switch (10) includes first and second spaced contacts (52, 56), and a rocking contact (80) having first and second arms (90, 92) in electrical contact with each other. A support (60) supports the rocking contact (80) for rocking movement in opposite first and second directions. The first arm (90) moves into engagement with the first contact (52) when the rocking contact (80) rocks in the first direction, and the second arm (92) moves into engagement with the second contact (56) when the rocking contact (80) rocks in the second direction. The switch (10) includes a member (20, 36) which pivots to effect rocking movement of the rocking contact (80) in the first and second directions. The member (20, 36) pivots in one direction a first distance to cause the first arm (90) to engage the first contact (52) and pivots in the one direction a second distance beyond the first distance to cause the first arm to slide on the first contact.

    • A lever switch includes a case having a common contact and fixed contacts provided on inner wall opposite to each other. A movable contact made from elastic metal and shaped like the letter “M” has an intermediate section that comes into contact with the common contact. A first arm extends from each one of both ends of the intermediate section. Each one of the ends of the first arms forms a folding-back section, and a second arm is formed at the end of the folding-back section. A contact formed at the end of the second arm comes into contact with the inner wall of the case. Rotation of the lever slides a slider on the bottom plate of the case, and a pushing section provided at each one of both ends of the slider brings the contact into contact with the fixed contact or leaves the contact from the fixed contact.

    • A lever switch includes a case, and a stationary contact, common contact, movable contact and lever which are disposed in the case. The movable contact is made up of elastic metal and includes a stationary portion, contact portion, and a curved portion located between the stationary portion and the contact portion. The stationary portion is connected to the common contact. The movable contact is disposed in a state of bending so that the contact portion may come in contact with or apart from the stationary contact. An operating portion is protruded from an opening, and a driving portion is located inside the case and abuts on the curved portion of the movable contact. When the operating portion is manipulated, the driving portion pushes the curved portion, and then the contact portion comes in contact with or apart from the stationary contact.
