    • A button apparatus with dual elastic elements includes a base, a key top located above the base, an elevation mechanism, and a complex elastic unit. The elevation mechanism is used to execute lifting and lowering operation between the base and the key top. The complex elastic unit, positioned between the base and the key top for providing resilience to the button apparatus, further includes a lower elastic element mounted on the base and an upper elastic element mounted under the key top. When the button apparatus is operated, an S-shaped resilience pattern can be provided by the complex elastic unit to generate a two-step punch feeling back to the user. Thereby, controllability of the button apparatus can be enhanced.

    • A first conductive member and a second conductive member are disposed on a first face of a circuit board.     • A membrane switch circuit layout and method for producing a membrane switch circuit layout are disclosed. The membrane switch circuit layout may have two or more membrane layers. Each membrane has a top surface and a bottom surface. A conductive circuit trace is printed on the top surface of each membrane. The membrane layers are placed in a stack with each top membrane having thru-holes selectively cut there through. Thus, for example, in a layout having two membrane layers, the first membrane is positioned beneath the second membrane and the second membrane has thru-holes cut there through. Conductive ink may be pressed through the thru-holes to provide electrical connection between the circuit traces printed on the membrane layers. An adhesive may be placed between the membrane layers as either adhesive printed on one of the membrane layers or as an additional layer.

    • A touch panel has excellent visibility and little waviness on respective elements even if the being exposed in a severe temperature or moisture environment. The touch panel includes an upper electrode sheet and a lower electrode board having respective transparent electrodes face to each other, and both of the sheet and the board are made of respective materials containing an identical main component to each other. In the touch panel, differences in dimensional changes due to the severe environment are restrained so small. Therefore, waviness on the upper electrode sheet and warp of the lower electrode board scarcely occur, and the touch panel can maintain the excellent visibility.

When depressed, the membrane can be deflected to said other contact so as to cause the conductor strip to touch that other contact, establishing the electrical connection between the two contacts (5, 7).
