    • PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by a method wherein an induced current is generated on a plurality of superconducting rings which are partially overlapped with each other in such a manner that the current will be propagated successively. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic field is generated when the current (i0) of a sine wave, a square wave or a delta wave is allowed to flow to an input part 14 through the intermediary of the amplifier 12 of a driving circuit, and a magnetic flux phi0 is generated. As a result, a current i1 is allowed to flow in the direction which disturbs the generation and increase of the magnetic flux phi0, and the magnetic flux phi1 is generated. Also, on a superconducting ring S2, the current i2 is permitted to flow in the direction which prevents the generation and increase of the magnetic flux phi1 by the magnetic flux phi1, and the magnetic flux phi2 is generated in the direction reverse to that of the magnetic flux phi1. When the current i0 flowing to the input part 4 begings to decrease, the magnetic flux phi0 is also begins to decrease, and such a current disturbing the decrease in the magnetic flux phi0 is allowed to flow to the superconducting ring S1 in the direction reverse to the current i1. As a result, a current in the reverse direction is allowed to flow to superconducting rings S2-Sn and an output part 16. At this point, the current (i) flowing to the output part 16 is amplified by an amplifier 18, inputted into a waveform shaping circuit 19, shaped into a square wave, led out from an output terminal 20, and the signal in made '1' and information can be read out.

    • PURPOSE:To speed up the operation and to extend the selecting width of a set value of an input signal current and a timing signal current, by combining two Josephson elements, resistors and an output circuit and realizing the sample hold function simply. CONSTITUTION:The Josephson junctioin element QA having Ia0 of superconduction critical current is arranged between nodes 2 and 1, the Josephson junction element QB having Ib0 of superconduction critial current is arranged between nodes 2 and 0, a resistor R1 is located between nodes 1 and 0, and a resistor R2 is placed between nodes 2 and 0. An input signal current IS is applied to the node 2, and a sampling timing signal current It is applied to the node 1. An output signal current I2 flows to the R2 and the node 0 is a ground point. The presence/absence of the input signal IS at the application of the current It appears as an output signal, and the sample hold function independently of the change in the input signal afterward is obtained from an output signal current I2.
