    • PURPOSE:To develop the positive image of an outline image by forming a developing process for normally developing an electrostatic latent image formed through a 2nd electrostatic charging process for executing recharging while impressing voltage having the same polarity as that of a 1st charging process by charged toner having the reverse polarity against the 1st charging process. CONSTITUTION:After exposing a negative image to the surface 1 of an electrostatic sensitive body to which the charge of fixed potential is applied by an electrostatic charger 2, a grid 42 is recharged while impressing voltage sufficiently lower than the surface potential of the non-image part of an electrostatic latent image formed by an exposure process 3 and having the same polarity as the charger 2 by a scorotron charger 4 to which DC voltage or alternate voltage having the same polarity as the charger 2 is impressed. The surface potential of the electrostatic latent image part other than the outline part of the image part is dropped down to almost the grid voltage and then the electrostatic latent image formed through the scorotron charger 4 is normally developed by the charged toner having the reverse polarity against the charger 2. Consequently, the charged toner is stuck to the outline part of the electrostatic latent image part with high potential and the outline image is turned to a positive image.

    • PURPOSE:To enable use of an optional photosensitive body and continuous copying of good images by repeating the process for forming electrostatic latent images without image exposing at every copying in accordance with the initially formed electrostatic latent image. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body 1 formed by laminating a photoconductive layer 1b on a conductive base plate 1a is uniformly electrified in the 1st stage and the body 1 is subjected to image exposing 3 to form an electrostatic latent image thereon in the 2nd stage. When the electrostatic latent image is developed, the toner of a negative polarity is stuck to the image part corresponding to the positive pole charge constituting said part in the 3rd stage. The photosensitive body is electrified in such a way that the toner polarity of the developed image is inverted in the succeeding 4th stage and thereafter light is irradiated from a light irradiating lamp 6 to the body 1 in the 5th stage to form the same electrostatic latent image as the electrostatic latent image obtd. in the 2nd stage. Said image is transferred onto transfer paper 8 in the 6th stage. The copying of the 2nd and succeeding sheets is continuously accomplished by repeating the process from the 3rd to the 6th stage.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a stable electrostatic latent image having high contrast and less fog by subjecting an electrophotographic sensitive body to primary electrostatic corona charging simultaneously with exposing of a light image then to secondary corona charging by using an AC voltage wherein the conduction angle is phase-controlled so as to stress a reversed polarity with respect to the primary charging and subjecting said body to exposing over the entire surface. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body produced by forming an Se charge transfer layer and an Se-Te charge generation layer on an Al conductive layer then forming a polyethylene terephthalate film insulation layer on an Al conductive layer is used. Said body is subjected to exposing of a light image simultaneously with DC corona charging of +7kV as primary corona charging. The body is then subjected to corona discharge, as secondary charging, by a corona charger supplied with a waveform of A+=A-=6kV in max. values A+, A- in amplitude, D+/D-=18/10 in conductive angles D+, D- of the half wave on a positive side and the half wave on a negative side and 50Hz frequency, in the dark; in succession, the sensitive body is subjected to exposing over the entire surface. The electrophotographic sensitive body is subjected to the primary corona charging in such a way is subjected to secondary corona charging by using the AC voltage wherein conduction angle of either one of the half wave on the positive side or the half wave on the negative side so as to stress the reversed polarity with respect to the primary charging simultaneously with the exposing of the light image. Said body is then subjected to exposing over the entire surface whereby a stable electrostatic latent image having high contrast and less fog is obtd.
