摘要：物体の表面の少なくとも一部を一時的に加熱または冷却し、表面のその部分の画像を中赤外域または遠赤外域において取得し、画像において隠匿物を探すことによって、物体に隠匿された物を検出する。あるいは、物体の環境温度が自然に変動するときに、物体の画像を取得する。好ましくは、複数の赤外線画像を取得して処理することにより物体の熱拡散率の測定値を得て、熱拡散率の測定値に従って隠匿物を探す。最も好ましくは、表面の加熱または冷却された部分の画像を可視域または近赤外域においても取得し、２組の画像を一緒に処理することにより物体の熱拡散率の測定値を得る。

摘要： A monitoring system 10 is provided which includes a primary electronic tag 12, a secondary electronic tag 16, reading apparatus 20, and a comparator 26. The primary electronic tag 12 includes primary identification data associated with the primary bearer 14 of the tag 12 and the secondary electronic tag 16 includes secondary identification data. The secondary identification data is associated with a secondary bearer 18 of the tag 16 and is also associated with the primary identification data. The reading apparatus 20 remotely reads the primary and secondary identification data and the comparator 26 compares the data and generates an output signal dependent upon the outcome of the comparison. The invention extends to a primary electronic tag 12 for use in monitoring movement of at least one secondary electronic tag 16. The invention also extends to a method of monitoring movement from a selected zone and a method of monitoring the use of at least one vehicle.

摘要： PURPOSE:To sense and survey reinforcement existing in a very deep position by magnetizing the reinforcement in concrete, and then detecting the lines of magnetic force, radiated from the reinforcement, by a reinforcement survey instrument. CONSTITUTION:When reinforcement 2 is magnetized by a magnetic coil 1, the magnetic flux of + DELTA comes out of the reinforcement 2 and reaches a sensor coil 4. Then the magnetic flux (phi1-DELTA) in the unmagnetized case of the reinforcement 2 is made into (phi1-DELTA+DELTA') so as to be increased by DELTA'. In the case of being integrated into a resonance circuit, the inductance of the sensor coil 4 acts as mutual inductance in the case of the magnetic flux coming from the reinforcement 2 so as to become larger compared to the inductance in the unmagnetized case of the reinforcement 2. In this method of measuring by actuating a sensor after magnetizing the reinforcement 2, survey accuracy becomes several times higher than the unmagnetized case.
