摘要： An intelligent battery pack in an electronic device such as a PC, sends such information as a voltage, a current, etc. related to power consumption to a controller via a line when the PC is driven by a battery. When the AC adapter is supplying electrical power to the device, the power source is changed to the battery pack once only during the measuring time so as to display data using both measuring and communicating functions of the battery pack. Consequently, no special electric power detector is provided in the power supply system of the AC adapter.

摘要： A measuring circuit arrangement (1) for an electricity meter for direct connection is respectively connected, for each phase of a three-phase network, to an input (3) for voltage detection and to an input (4) of a measuring chip (2) for detection of the electric current. A voltage divider (R1,R2) used for voltage level adaptation is provided upstream from the input (3) for voltage detection. A current transformer (5) with a series connected measuring shunt (RnullSHnull191) is installed upstream from the input (4) for current detection. The current transformer (5) is embodied in such a way that the ohmic resistance to the measuring shunt (RnullSHnull191) sufficiently limits standard direct-current impingement of the current transformer (5) and said ohmic resistance is small enough so that, together with the inductance of the current transformer (5), it only exhibits a standard angle error.

摘要： A peak detector comprising of a comparator, an input-trigger device, a gate-width control block, an AND gate, a first current source, a second current source, a first switch, a second switch and a capacitor. The peak detector of this invention uses simple circuits to obtain low frequency energy attenuation. The low frequency attenuation can be programmed and hence able to find the actual average voltage peak. In addition, the simple design makes the peak detector of this invention a suitable replacement candidate for the complicated analogue-to-digital converter conventionally used for detecting average energy attenuation after passing through an electric cable. The peak detector can also be used to measure voltage attenuation for signals passing through LAN, transmission medium such as cable or twisted pair or other related products.
