摘要： In a device for measuring axially symmetric aspherics which has means for mounting the aspherics thereon and means having an axis of rotation orthogonal to the axis of symmetry of the aspherics and passing through the center of curvature of the approximately tangential spherical plane of the aspherics, the means being for swinging the mounting means so that the aspherics swings within a predetermined angle about the axis of rotation, there is provided means for continuously detecting the angle of swing of the aspherics, slidable means displaceable in a direction orthogonal to the axis of rotation, fine displacement detecting means having a detecting head making a point-contact with the aspherics, the detecting means being disposed between the aspherics and the slidable means for detecting any variation in the distance between the point of contact and the slidable means, drive means for displacing the slidable means, the amount of drive of the drive means being determined in accordance with an input signal thereto, control means coupled to the angle-of-swing detecting means for pre-memorizing the amount of separation from the approximately tangential spherical plane at each point on the aspherics and for generating a signal to the drive means so as to displace the slidable means by an amount equal to the memorized amount of separation at the point of contact with the detecting head corresponding to the detected angle of swing, and means for displaying the variation in the distance detected by the fine displacement detecting means.

摘要： A system for generating electrical signals relating to the position and orientation of a part supported on a reference surface for use by manipulating devices includes an image converter tube which receives the light information from a test part and the surface. The scanned output of the tube is digitized and provided to a digital unit which isolates data representing the outline of the part in the direction of viewing. The system then calculates the centroid of the outlined area and a signature radius identifying the orientation of distinctive boundary transitions of the part relative to the centroid. Subsequently, similar parts supported on the reference surface are scanned by the video system and the digitized outputs are analyzed to calculate the position of the centroid of these parts relative to a reference location and the angular displacements of the parts relative to the rotational orientation of the test part.

摘要： A mobile track liner comprises a laser beam gun in an uncorrected track section emitting a reference beam forming a chord in the arc of a track curve, and a laser beam receiver mounted on the liner, laser beam gun and receiver are transversely adjustable in relation to fixed points, such as telegraph poles and like markers defining a planned track position and respectively associated with the laser beam gun and the receiver. A control means for the track lining converts lining error signals which are a function of the receiver position in dependence of the length of the path of the movement of the receiver on the track into lining control signals. In the lining method, the receiver on the liner is moved towards the laser beam gun which is mounted on a carriage in the uncorrected track section.
