      SOLUTION: The surface of the propellant having seven or more holes is coated with a coating agent of the organic substance and/or the inorganic substance suppressing combustion of the propellant. The coated propellant is characterized by that a relationship between a distance Wi between an outer circumferential hole and an inner circumferential hole, and a distance Wo from the outer circumferential hole to an outer circumference face of the propellant is 0.5×Wi≤Wo≤0.9×Wi.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator with an increased progressive combustibility.SOLUTION: The gas generator has both inactive covered parts and active combustion parts on the surface. The active combustion parts exist in lines and/or spots. The ratio of (the area of the active combustion parts)/(the area of the active combustion parts+the area of the inactive combustion parts) is 0.001-0.70. Preferably, the gas generator is plate-like or disc-like. When the line-like active combustion parts are present in two on the same surface of the gas generator, they are arranged in parallel with each other. When the line-like active combustion parts are present in not less than three, they are arranged in parallel and roughly at an equal distance. When the spot-like active combustion parts are present in not less than three on the same surface of the gas generator, they are arranged roughly at an equal distance to each other.

    • PURPOSE: To simplify the assembly of a shaped charge that evenly has a large effect by coagulating, hardening or polymerizing a fluid indurative material in a hollow formed with main and propagating charges so that the material strongly unites with the charges. CONSTITUTION: A shaped charge composed of a main charge 1 has a conical funnel-shaped cavity coated with liner 2 for forming a shaped charge jet by ignition. The main charge 1 needs to be ignited homogeneously and annularly, so that a propagating charge 4 is provided between the main charge 1 and a detonator to be loaded in a recess 3 after a barrier material injected into a hollow 5 is hardened, and at the same time a light-weight damping barrier material is filled into the hollow 5. The barrier 5 formed in this way eliminates tabular flaws from a shifting part between the barrier 5 and the main and propagating charges 1 and 4. Further, the barrier 5 provides excellent adhesion and a most-suitable shifting part from a propagating charge 4 to the main charge 1 by solely maintaining the coupling between the barrier 5 and the charges 4 and 1 without adding an external shifting part therebetween by bonding.
