    • A flow-regulating device is provided for external placement along a garden hose to control the water flow therethrough. The flow-regulating device comprises an open-ended hollow housing for receiving the hose. A compression member for compressing the hose against the housing. An actuator mounted on the housing-for moving the compression member toward and away from the hose thereby controlling the compression of the hose to vary the flow of fluid through the hose. The hollow housing may also have a longitudinal slot therein for inserting the hose.

    • An apparatus for squeezing pipes, comprising a first jaw having a first squeezing surface and a second jaw having a second squeezing surface. The first jaw and the second jaw are interconnected for relative displacement at proximal ends through a first shaft of the apparatus and at distal ends through a second shaft of the apparatus. The first squeezing surface and the second squeezing surface are separated by a gap adapted to receive a pipe therein. The first jaw is rotatable with respect to the first shaft and engageable with the second shaft such that the apparatus is mountable about a pipe with the pipe being positioned in the gap between the first and the second shaft. Actuation means are provided for axially displacing the first shaft to reduce the gap to squeeze the pipe between the first squeezing surface of the first jaw and the second squeezing surface of the second jaw to block at least partially fluid flow in the pipe, wherein at least one of the first and second jaws bends at a given level of squeezing of the pipe whereby greater pressure is applied on cross-sectional ends of the pipe being squeezed.

    • The present invention is a pinch valve for connection between an upstream pipeline and a downstream pipeline. The pinch valve includes a fixed conical reducer having an inlet end, an outlet end and an inside surface with an inside diameter which gradually reduces from the inlet end to the outlet end, resulting in a substantially conical-shaped inside surface. The inlet end of the fixed conical reducer attached to the upstream pipeline. The pinch valve also includes a flexible full port sleeve having an inlet end and an outlet end, the inlet end of the flexible fill port sleeve attached to the outlet end of the fixed conical reducer and the outlet end of the full port sleeve attached to the downstream pipeline. The pinch valve further includes a pinching mechanism positioned adjacent the flexible full port sleeve and configured to constrict the flexible full port sleeve.
