    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary piston engine capable of achieving round rotation without involving eccentricity in rotation of a rotor, and changing compressed gas into combustion gas under a simple structure.
      SOLUTION: The engine includes a mechanism, in which a rotary piston 21g or 21h maintains a positional relationship in top-bottom and left-right directions on the slightly inner side of the outer peripheral part of the rotor 13 while performing revolving and rotating motions, in a gear housing 61. The mechanism allows the rotary piston 21g or 21h to rotate while smoothly sliding on a fixed cylinder head 34m or 34p. Accordingly, every motion part purely performs a smooth circular motion. Furthermore, the movement of gas in an engine volume chamber from a compression chamber to a combustion chamber is performed between the cylinder head 34p on a compression combustion side and the rotary piston 21g or 21h having a clearance 29q for the movement of the compressed gas in a piston head 29p on the compression combustion side. The movement of the compressed gas to the combustion chamber can be performed easily and surely.
