    • A gazebo is fabricated utilizing a novel construction system wherein lightweight aluminum framing components are employed. A preferred structure has eight sides wherein each side includes a pair of vertical posts, a pair of header members, a rail and foot member, columns disposed between the rail and foot member and the pair of header members, and an insulated composite roof panel. An entrance way is void of the rail and foot member, but can be employed with the necessary framing components to attach a door. As each side unit is attached by self mating beam and vertical post members to an adjacent side unit, the gazebo structure is formed. A crown portion can be attached upon an apex of the gazebo. Shingles or tiles can be attached upon the roof panels. Spline grooves formed along the vertical posts permit the gazebo to be “screened in.” A strengthening wire can also be employed around the circumference of the gazebo through each side unit upper header member for adding structural integrity to the gazebo.

    • A single transportable oversized or extended support base is provided for a conventional equipment shelter and the associated power source. The shelter and power source are separately affixed to the base while at the place of manufacturing to form a transportable unitary shelter facility that is easily and efficiently installed at the use site. Such combination avoids the additional labor and expense associated with installing equipment such as a generator in a separate room within the building because it eliminates the need for the extra door, and larger wall, roof, and floor panels, ventilation systems, environmental controls and related items. The shelter facility and methods of the present invention also avoid the logistical problems associated with on-site external installation of auxiliary equipment because installation of the facility reduces the need to coordinate the activities of different people at a remote site and provides greater assurance to the manufacturer and the user that the installation has been done correctly and that everything will work as it should upon startup at the use site.

    • A portable security housing is formed from a framework defining an interior space for enclosing items to be secured, such as vending machines. The framework has a rear wall, opposite side walls, an upper wall, and a front access opening. Opaque panels are secured over at least the side and upper walls to cover the housing, with the rear wall placed against a building wall or the like. A roll-up, sectional door is rotatably mounted at the upper end of the front access opening for movement between a rolled up, storage position above the front opening and an unrolled, downwardly extended deployed position covering and closing the front opening. The housing has floor mounting pads at its base for releasably mounting the housing on a floor or ground surface.

    • A wall panel including a rectangular frame, a pair of wall members and a thin decorative sheet covering the wall members. The frame includes two spaced apart, generally parallel vertical frame members and spaced apart, generally parallel horizontal lower and upper frame members. The horizontal frame members are connected to the vertical frame members at opposite ends thereof to form the rectangular frame. In one embodiment, each of the frame members includes a core member and a pair of sidewall members attached to opposite sides of the core member. The wall members are attached to the sidewalls on opposing sides of the frame members. In another embodiment, inner wall members are attached to the opposing sides of the frame members, and outer wall members are thereafter attached to the inner wall member. A decorative sheet covers the outer surface of each outer wall member. The wall panels are connected to each other with a connector member. Light seal members are disposed on one of the wall panel or connector member to span at least a portion of a gap formed between at least a portion of connected wall panels and/or corner post. Upper wall panels can also be mounted to various configurations of lower wall panels using a variety of connector members. Locator members and openings are provided to locate a wall member on a core assembly. An apparatus and method for positioning the locator members and openings is also provided.
