First and second actuating members are pivotally connected to a housing for the container and a nozzle actuating member is connected to the first actuating member. A pneumatic member in the form of a cylinder with a piston or a telescoping valve is operatively associated with the first and second actuating members. A compressive force placed on the second actuating member causes the nozzle activating member to contact the container valve to dispense product from the container. A controlled metering of product is produced by an air regulator connected to the pneumatic member.

摘要： A holder for a pump-type bottle dispenser includes a base section and an adjustable section capable of moving with respect to each other to adapt to dispenser size and/or shape. The adjustable section suitably includes a neck or other extension that supports the neck of the dispenser, and the bottom of the dispenser rests upon the base member as appropriate. The adjustable section is held in place with respect to the base section by a locking mechanism that may include teeth or other extensions on one of the sections that interface with indentations in the other section to provide a lock against further movement. A post or other support may also be provided to secure the holder against a sink, countertop or other support. Such a holder is particularly useful for soap dispensers and the like which may be provided in public facilities such as vehicle lavatories.

The indicating device includes an indicator housing, at least one engagement member disposed in the indicator housing, a plurality of indicator members coaxially mounted in the indicator housing, and an actuator coupled to and moveable with the container relative to the plurality of indicator members and the dispenser housing. The actuator member is selectively engaged with at least one of indicator members and is operative to advance the at least one indicator member an incremental amount. The at least one engagement member is selectively engaged with an advancement member so as to bias the advancement member into operable engagement with at least one of the indicator members and move the at least one indicator member an incremental amount. A method for dispensing metered dosages of the substance is also provided.

摘要： A liquid dispenser is provided for dispensing a desired amount of liquid from a bottle, without leakage or dripping. The bottle is mounted in a fixture attached to a wall. The bottle includes an inlet and an outlet, with one-way valves operatively sealed in the inlet and outlet ports. A foam-filled foot pump is operatively connected to the inlet valve for the inlet port, such that air may be pumped into the bottle to pressurize the contents thereof. Upon pressurization, the liquid is forced through the outlet valve in the outlet port. An air filter is provided for the pump, so as to preclude contamination of liquid in the bottle. Excess pressure is released through a relief valve to preclude over-dosing of liquid from the bottle.
