    • A device for transferring blister packs to the feeding line of a packaging machine includes a pick-up member capable of picking-up a series of blister packs disposed in reciprocal alignment at the blister packs cutting station and releasing this series of blister packs in alignment with a conveyor situated adjacent to the cutting station. A blister packs selective releasing device is situated above the conveyor and is equipped with support elements for receiving in support the blister packs picked-up by the pick-up member and operated selectively to release the blister packs, disposed in reciprocal alignment and orderly spaced apart, onto the conveyor. A stepwise rotating carrousel is situated at the outlet of said conveyor and is equipped with gripping members capable of picking-up the blister packs from the conveyor and transferring the blister packs, one by one, to a feeding line arranged perpendicular with respect to the conveyor.

    • In an apparatus for packaging piece goods, a piece-goods article of a first type (A) and a plurality of piece goods of a second type (B) are introduced into a common pack. The apparatus has a first conveyor (1), for feeding piece goods of the first type (A), a second conveyor (3), for feeding piece goods of a second type (B), and a packing station (7), for forming a flexible tube (72). It also has at least one feed station (2), from which the piece goods of the second type (B) are deposited by means of the second conveyor (3) such that the piece goods of the second type (B) are located one above the other at least in part and form first groups. In each case one of these first groups is deposited on a piece-goods article of the first type (A) from the second conveyor (3) by conveying means (4, 10), this resulting in the formation of a second group, which is introduced into the flexible tube (72). Force-applying means (5, 6) are provided here in order that the second group maintains its shape as it is introduced into the flexible tube (72). The apparatus makes it possible for non-stackable piece goods of different types to be transported together and packaged together in a tubular bag. In particular it is possible for flat masses of noodles, together with bags of sauce and spices located thereon, to be packaged in tubular bags.

    • A conveyor induct system includes a control point subsystem for measuring the point at which control of an article transitions from one conveyor to another. The induct system also includes a subsystem for accurately creating or controlling the gaps between articles on the conveyor system. The control point subsystem monitors the location, and changes in the speed, of an article as it passes between two conveyors operating at different speeds. The gap control subsystem provides real time monitoring and measuring of the package gaps. The measured package gaps are fed into a feedback control system which alters the speed of a conveyor in order to change the gapping as desired.

    • For conveying piece goods, holding devices (2) are utilised for holding individual articles (1), which holding devices (2) are mounted on displaceable conveying devices (3) and are closed for the purpose of conveying the articles (1). For loading articles (1) onto essentially continuously conveyed, opened holding devices (2) and/or for unloading articles (1) from essentially continuously conveyed, opened holding devices (2), pairs of article guides (5) and article pushers (6) are conveyed through a loading zone (L) or unloading zone, in parallel to and in synchronism with the holding/conveying devices (2/3). The article guides are stationary relative to the holding/conveying devices and, in a displacement direction essentially transverse to the conveying direction (F), are aligned with the holding devices. For loading, articles (1) are pushed by the article pushers from the article guides (5) into the opened holding devices (2). For unloading, articles are pushed out of the opened holding devices into the article guides (5). The holding devices are designed as guides in the displacement direction. In the loading/unloading zone (L) a drum-like arrangement with horizontal axis of rotation (A) is provided, on which a plurality of pairs of article guides (5) and axially displaceable article pushers (6) are arranged. The drum-like arrangement is also provided with devices for guiding and, if so required, for driving the holding/conveying devices (2/3).
