摘要： Container dosure members of plastics possess certain advantages over metal-type dosuros, but frequentiy there sro form stability problems. This invention provides measures of a prophylactic nature for prohibiting form instability of plastics dosures while maintaining desired characteristics of the dosures as, for example, acoeptable tightness, stacking facility, resistance against intemai overpressure and, H necessary, easy openable characteristics. Broadly, the form stability problem has been solved by giving the plastics dosure an edge flange formable in situ to the final configuration thereof.

摘要： The present invention has been made to provide an easy opening can end (1) such that a can end panel (11) is made of steel sheet having both sides coated with resin layers which are composed of one or two or more types of thermoplastic resin and has elongation after break of 100 % or more, tensile strength of 10 kg/mm 2 or more, Young modulus of 100 kg/mm 2 or more and a thickness of 10 to 100 µm, and a score (2) is formed at least either side of a front or a back of a can end panel (11) being capable of breakage for opening and has a bottom cross-section in a shape of an arc having a radius (R) of 0.10 to 1.0 mm and the thinnest section of the score has a thickness (t) of 0.025 to 0.080 mm. The easy opening can end (1) according to the present invention has no problem of resin layer damage when the score (2) is formed and has excellent can openability to such an extent that children and the aged may easily open can ends, so that the easy opening can end (1) is most suitable for a can end of a beverage can and a food can.
