摘要： A single print element of a typewriter impacts a record sheet at one of two velocities depending on the area of coverage of the selected character. A vane (90), which extends between the character case shift levers (32) and is pivotally connected thereto, is disposed in the path of movement of all of the character selection interposers (28). Vane (90) has an opening (94, 97) for each interposer when the print element is to impact the record sheet at the higher velocity so that vane (90) is not engaged by the interposer (28) during movement thereof. If the print element is to strike the record sheet at the lower velocity, then vane (90) has a portion for engagement by the moving interposer (28). Movement of vane (90), when engaged by an interposer (28), causes movement of a connecting link (102) which in turn shifts the position of a cam follower cooperating with a dual-cam velocity control device.

In this manner, even by use of a plain paper with a rough surface the respective color inks can be transferred smoothly and uniformly, printing qualities, such as dot printing properties and line printing properties, can be enhanced, and a large amount of energy is not needed for the transfer.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to enhance operation performance and safety, by constituting the titled printer so that a film receiving magazine is slid to the outside of a printer from the main body thereof in the feed direction of recording paper and an ink film. CONSTITUTION:When an ink film 7 and a cassette 6 are to be replaced, a head holder 13 moves to a position, where a head 10 and rollers 11, 12 impart no trouble to the sliding operation of a cassette 6 and a magazine 1, in an E-direction. Next, an engaging lever 16 is revolved in an F-direction and the magazine 1 is guided on a rail 25 by the energizing force of a spring member 19 to be slid in a D-direction. Further, the magazine 1 is pulled out to a position enabling the replacement of the cassette 6 and again pushed in in a C-direction after replacement and, when an engaging part 24 impinges against the slope 26 of the engaging lever 16, the engaging lever 16 is moved in the F-direction and subsequently revolved in a G-direction by the energizing force of a spring member 20 to impinge against a buffer part 21 to engage the magazine 1. Therefore, the replacement of the film can be performed outside a printer main body.
