摘要： A multi-composition stick product (10), such as a lip balm, sun screen, deodorant, or glue stick. The multi-composition stick product (10) including a stick composition (14) molded in the container (12) so as to contact the walls thereof and be advanceable or ejected therefrom. The stick composition (14) includes a first composition and a second composition. The first and second compositions differ in at least one component, such as a medicament, colorant, fragrance, flavorant, sunscreen, preservative, conditioner, moisturizer, emollient, or surfactant. Furthermore the first and second compositions are arranged in a predetermined non-random pattern that is reproducible. Also described is the method and apparatus for manufacturing the multi-composition stick product (10).

摘要： A method for making a spiral fuel body for a layered candle is disclosed. Layers of a non-liquid candle fuel are successively poured into a mold and cooled to a non-liquid state. The layers bond together in the mold, and are removed as a sheet of candle fuel, which is rolled into the spiral fuel body. Each layer is distinguishable from the other layer for the life of the candle by color, aroma, and thickness. A mold that can be used for making a rolled candle has obtuse sides for producing a tapered form to the candle.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a two-component skin by a nulldouble slushnull molding process is disclosed. In accordance with one aspect of the nulldouble slushnull molding process, after a first generally uniform layer of a moldable material that is at least partially cured is formed on a contoured surface of a mold, an additional amount of a moldable material is injected onto the at least partially cured first layer. Then, the mold is shaken to cause the additional moldable material to be generally evenly distributed on the first layer and form a second layer on top of the first layer. The mold also is heated to cure both the first and second layers and bond them together to form a two-component skin, shell, or body.

The body member, with its tubular member and overcoat layer are elastically deformable from an initial nullrestnull or nullrelaxednull state, when outside of the body, where at least a portion of the overcoat layer is of a diameter equal to or greater than that of an undilated urethra. A stylet may be placed into the tubular member to serve as a guide, for elongation of the body member and to provide rigidly to the body member upon insertion into the urinary tract. There is also disclosed a method for making the apparatus of the present invention.

摘要： A filament cassette and a filament loading assembly supply modeling filament to a liquifier in a three-dimensional deposition modeling machine. Two or more cassettes containing spooled filament are inserted into the machine. A strand of filament from a first one of the cassettes is fed to the liquifier for extrusion. Without operator intervention, the filament strand from the first cassette is withdrawn from the liquifier, and a filament strand from a second one of the cassettes is fed to the liquifier. The switching of filament feed sources is triggered by an event, such as an identification that the filament from the first cassette has reached a predetermined minimum length. In this manner, a used primary filament cassette is automatically replaced with a standby filament cassette, so that the machine need not experience downtime waiting for an operator to change the cassettes.

A coating layer is applied onto the mold surface and physically deformed to provide a textured surface away from the mold prior to complete cure.
