    • A jig apparatus that allows one to cut arches in a work piece quickly and efficiently. It is comprised of a bar that has sliding adjustable clamps that secure a cable which go around pulleys on a router or other cutting device that when the cable is pulled taut, creates a path for the router or other cutting device to follow while it cuts thus cutting an arch into the work piece. Prior to this apparatus one would have to cut this arch with a template which had been previously tooled. This jig apparatus creates a template and cut all in one step.

    • First and second guide plates are engaged for linear sliding between them by a channel and rib engagement system. A grooving tool is carried by the plate associated with the rib, and the rib is in axial alignment with the tool head, such that the tool head can lead the rib. When a groove is being cut into a workpiece, the rib can follow the tool head into the cut groove to extend the range of the guide. Ribs of different size can be selected to coordinate with the tool and groove width. Filler strips similarly coordinate the channel width. An alternate or supplemental guide system joins the first plate to a series of accordion style hinged and foldable plates. These plates guide the first plate in linear movement as they fold or unfold.

    • Machine for profile working of front surfaces on oblong wood workpieces resolves the problem of simple, accurate and fluent or continued working of workpieces front surfaces of various lengths and intersections, and the machine is of a compact construction. It is characteristic by the construction of the entrance turnover device transversely placed between longitudinal conveyors with carriers, which has on the periphery of rotating wheels constructed movable bearing couplings, and by them fixed guiding plates with the groove inside which there are movably inserted guided bearings of bearing couplings. In the area of the entrance turnover device there are placed under an optional angle the oblique roller conveyors, inside which there are flexibly and circularly movably inserted rolls. Between the longitudinal conveyors there is placed the endless conveying chain, which has to its entire extent fastened clamping units that have inside the fixed housing inserted the clamping mechanism, the operation of which is regulated by the control field and control indicator. Over the free corner of the longitudinal conveyor there runs the oblique conveyor with carriers tilted to the longitudinal conveyor. Between longitudinal conveyors there is transversely placed the exit turnover device, which has on the periphery of rotating wheels constructed movable bearing cranks, being through the chain connected with the control chain wheel and control panel, the guided bearing of which is movably inserted inside the channel guide fixed on the rotating wheels.

    • This invention relates to an improved separator, commonly referred to as a “lath”, “stick”, “sticker”, or “crosser”, that is used in the lumber industry to separate pieces of lumber in a stack or bundle. The separator features, in one embodiment, a plurality of grooves traversing the length of the separator to permit air circulation within the grooves, and a plurality of ridges between the grooves to support the pieces of lumber. In another embodiment, a second plurality of grooves traverse the length of the separator and the first grooves to form a cross-hatching of grooves to permit air circulation within the grooves, and forming a plurality of protrusions to support the pieces of lumber over the grooves.
