The apparatus further includes a carousel beneath the stand top. The carousel has a base and a second cylindrical tube extending upward from the base. A base plate elevates the carousel and maintains an elevated position of the second cylindrical tube relative to the first cylindrical tube. The elevated carousel rotates about the first cylindrical tube of the stand and on the base plate without touching a surface upon which the stand and base plate rest. The carousel may be divided into storage compartments having varying shapes.

摘要： A shoe carousel particularly suitable for use in closets and other confined areas comprises a series of rotatable wire rack members spaced apart and coaxially mounted upon a central shaft so that each respective wire rack member rotates independently at separate locations along the shaft. The shaft is adapted to be stationed upon a floor surface in a substantially vertical position supported within a base stand and may be adjustable in its length to provide floor to ceiling engagement when necessary. The wire rack members are separately mounted and supported upon the shaft in substantially horizontal planes and are specially formed to hold and display a variety of shoes upon the surface of the rack member. Each rack member is constructed from a plurality of radial spokes centrally connected to a hub member at inner ends of the spokes. The radial spokes are each further formed having a downwardly inclined segment to provide each rack member with a conically-shaped framework with the outermost ends of the radial spokes each being formed at an acute angle relative to the inclined segment that provides a substantially vertical rim raised around the bottom of each rack member. A series of concentric wire rings having progressively increasing diameters are attached to and over the radial spokes to provide an inclined support surface for storing a variety of shoes retained in place and during rotation by the raised rim.

摘要： A rotary shelf assembly mechanism has shelves mounted on a vertical post arrangement formed by a first lower post and a second upper post. The mechanism is connected to a cabinet by upper and lower mounting brackets interacting with the top and bottom of the cabinet to support the posts and shelves carried thereby. The mechanism is mounted in the corner of the cabinet. To fit the mechanism within the cabinet, a height adjustment device is formed by positioning the second upper post in the upper end of the first lower post for slidable movement therebetween. When securement of the two joined posts and mounted shelves is desired, the slidably movable second upper post is extended upwardly until it engages the upper mounting bracket mounted on the cabinet. An elongated recess in the second upper post aligns with an opening in the first lower post, and a threaded member extends into a casting positioned within the upper post. The threaded member is tightened to engage the casting and secure the two posts in a shelf-retaining and rotational mode. The height adjustment device enables quick and efficient installation of the mechanism within the cabinet interior. The mechanism also includes a one piece shelf construction having a post-securing section and a shelf-retaining pin.
