摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the curly haired persons to easily carry out the work of correcting the curly hairs by themselves and facilitate the application of the proper tension to the hairs.
SOLUTION: One 3 of pincette type handles 3 and 4 is provided with a brush 5 for applying the permanent wave agent and the first brush 6 for getting hairs tensioned properly and the other handle 4 with the second brush 7 for making hairs tensioned properly. The handles 3 and 4 are each provided with a side deviation preventing mechanism which gets a protruded part 41 and a groovelike part 42 fitted thereinto shallow when the handles are opened and deep when they are closed and a home position mechanism which makes the protruded part 41 hit the groovelike part 42 to keep the relative positions of both the brushes 6 and 7 almost constant when the handles are closed. The length of the bristles in both the brushes 6 and 7 is made almost the same. A group of head hairs is inserted between both the brushes and then, the handles are closed. The group of hairs is grasped between the two brushes to get the bristles of the two brushes meshed with each other. With the protruded part hitting the groovelike part, the depth of the mesh between the two brushes becomes almost the same as the length of the bristles. The hairs are grasped between the bristles set parallel of the two brushes. As both the brushes are moved to the tip side while keeping the group of hairs grasped, the group of hairs is get tensioned.
