    • PURPOSE: To release a person from severe and heavy labor, to improve working properties, and to raise efficiency, by folding a heated raw material for candy with starch base in such a way that the more cooled face is put inside, rolling and cooling the raw material repeatedly.
      CONSTITUTION: While the heated raw material 18 for candy with starch base rolled on the rolling plate 2 is being folded and controlled subsidiarily by the left and right folding auxiliary lever 26, the raw material is pushed up at its central part by the thrusting plate 7 rising from the lower part and folded approximately in two. Proper folding is carried out easily even in a state wherein the cooling is promoted and hardness increases, and the whole raw material can be evenly and uniformly cooled without producing supercooled parts.
