摘要： La invencion se refiere a un controlador de corriente para uso en, por ejemplo, equipos automáticos de aturdimiento animal. Un problema en el pasado ha sido que el equipo de aturdimiento no siempre aturde a los animales lo humanamente suficiente antes de sacrificarlos por ejemplo, cuando ocurre un corto circuito y un animal no es aturdido suficientemente, el animal sufre de trauma antes de sacrificarlo. Ahora, siendo introducidas regulaciones resuelve este problema al proveer un generador de corriente continua con espejo Wilson (21, 22) el cual puede operar en circuitos de alto voltaje, con buena respuesta dinámica, por medio de esto, se asegura la corriente preferida siempre que se aplique para aturdir correctamente a un animal.

摘要： Animal stunning equipment suitable for use with sheep or other small livestock includes a restrainer - conveyor (36) comprising one or more pair of continuous belt or slat conveyors having inclined operating surfaces facing each other to define a substantially V-shaped passageway in which an animal can be restrained and conveyed towards automatic stunning means. The stunning means is arranged so that one or more sets of electrodes (30) which are moveable between a stunning position and a withdrawn position, are set at rest to form a barrier in the path of the moving animal to stun the animal immediately it comes into contact with the waiting electrodes. The conveyor is temporarily stopped when the animal contacts the electrodes. After stunning has occured, the electrodes are de-activated and moved to the withdrawn position out of the conveyor path to enable the conveyor to be restarted and eject the stunned animal.

摘要： Electrical stunning apparatus for beef cattle or other livestock uses head restraining means (18) to hold the animal's head in place during contact by electrodes (23, 17). The animal's head is prevented from moving upwardly by a pusher (18) which contacts the top of its head or neck, whilst a chin lifter (21) moves in from below the animal's head to hold it in place. An electrode (17) on the chin lifter contacts the animal's nose allowing a stunning current to pass through the animal's head to another electrode on the pusher (for head stunning). If deep stunning is required an additional electrode (26) may be moved into contact with the rear of the animal to apply a heart-stopping current.
