摘要： Natural, biodegradable compositions are described as well as methods for their manufacture. Fishing lures and other items made of the biodegradable materials disintegrate over time in fresh or salt water to reduce pollution. The materials are digestable by fish and other aquatic animals, reducing potential harm to the animal from ingesting a fishing lure or other item made from the natural biodegradable materials disclosed. Because the material is digestable, it can also be used as a food source or supplement for fish and aquatic animals.

摘要： This invention relates to devices, kits, and methods for eliminating termite colonies. The kits, devices, and methods employ a termiticidal bait matrix containing a) a termiticide selected such that the termiticide causes death to about 50 to about 100% of termites within about 24 to about 84 days after the termites begin to ingest the termiticide or the bait matrix comprising the termiticide, b) a cellulose containing material, and c) water. The termiticidal bait matrix can be used in a bait station installed in the ground. The kits are suitable to be used by consumers in their homes.

摘要： An insecticidal composition comprising at least one attractant (0.05 to 95% w/w), at least one insecticide (0.05 to 1% w/w) and at least one stabilizer (0.1 to 5% w/w). The insecticidal composition may be used together with a suitable carrier to efficiently control flying insects. The viscous composition after being placed within a suitable carrier interacts with naturally occurring humidity whereby the outer layer of the composition loses its viscosity, diffuses downwards and occupies the entire area of the trap or suitable carrier, thereby releasing a small amount of composition. Control of flying insects using the composition together with a suitable carrier is comparable to spraying. Only small amounts of insecticide are needed which are released slowly by the composition.

摘要： This invention relates to a rodent repellant composition having 5-50% ethylene vinyl acetate by weight of low density polyethylene, 0.25-10% rodent repellent material by weight of low density polyethylene and the remainder being low density polyethylene mixed together in the form of a semi solid compound. According to the process of this invention low density polyethylene at a temperature of 110-160null C. is added to 5-50% ethylene vinyl acetate by weight of low density polyethylene is mixed therewith homogeneously. 0.25-10% rodent repellent material is added into said mixture. The mixture so obtained is subjected to the further step of mixing at the constant temperature and then shredded at room temperature in order to obtain a compound in the form of flakes. The flakes so obtained are subjected to conventional steps of film making.
