    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversing mechanism capable of performing rotation output in forward and reverse directions at a simple structure having few components. SOLUTION: When a connection shaft section 6 is connected with an output member 2, a planetary bevel gear 4 is integrally rotated together around a fixed shaft 3 of an input member 1 and the output member 2 so that a clutch means for connecting and disconnecting the connection shaft section 6 with the output member 2 and a brake means for stopping a rotation of the connection shaft section 6 when connection of the connection shaft section 6 with the output member 2 is stopped by the clutch means are arranged by supporting the planetary bevel gear 4 on a rectangular shaft member 5 which is turnable around the same fixed shaft 3 of the input member 1 and output member 2 and combining the connection shaft section 6 internally fitted on the output member 2 with the rectangular shaft member 5 at a right angle, and the output member 2 is forwardly rotated. When the connection shaft section 6 is disconnected with the output member 2, rotary output in both forward and reverse directions can be derived by a simple structure having few components so that the output member 2 is reversed by rotating the planetary bevel gear 4 only around a shaft 5a of the rectangular shaft member 5.     • A reversible transmission mechanism includes an input member rotatable about a fixed shaft and having a bevel gear, a first shaft member rotatable about the fixed shaft and having a shaft portion extending perpendicular to the fixed shaft, and a second shaft member rotatable about the fixed shaft and rotationally fixed to the first shaft member. An output member is rotatably mounted around the second shaft member and has a bevel gear at one end thereof axially facing the bevel gear of the input member. A planetary bevel gear is rotatably mounted around the shaft portion of the first shaft member so as to mesh with the bevel gears of the input and output members. The second shaft member is selectively coupled to and uncoupled from the output member by a clutch. When the second shaft member is uncoupled from the output member, the rotation of the second shaft member is stopped by a brake.
