摘要： A strut-rod connector (10) enables the rod (16) to be quickly and easily attached at any adjusted position along the strut (18), or axially adjusted. The connector has an internal (12) and external (14) head assembled to each other for limited rocking and opening and closing movement. The rod is threaded in the inner head (12) and extends through a transverse slot (49) in the outer head. A lock nut (70) quickly clamps the parts together, and each self-centers on the legs (21,22) of the strut (18). The connection can be made by simply rocking the assembly of the two heads and rod to insert the assembly and rod at any desired location. Tightening a lock nut centers and clamps the assembly and rod in place. Optimum loading in either axial direction of the rod is provided.

A joint structure including an extrudate member and a rod-like mating member, in which the extrudate member has a closed sectional structure portion and has an end thereof joined to the rod-like mating member such that the extrudate member intersects a longitudinal direction of the rod-like mating member. The arbor includes comprised of a diamond shaped plate having four peripheral side walls with four corners therebetween that separate the four side walls. The arbor has a central opening that is configured and adapted to allow the arbor to be attached to a power tool. A slot extends from the central opening through one of the side walls or corners so that the arbor can easily be inserted into and removed from a saw blade. The slot allows the arbor to be compressed like a spring and be retained within the central opening in the saw blade.

摘要： There is provided a clamp-type apparatus for connecting a first object, such as a vibratory mechanism, to a second object that is a box-type vessel having at least one slot in a side near a corner, such as a steamship truck container, which apparatus comprises: (a) a first plate having a first aperture and at least one second aperture, the at least one second aperture being used to attach the first object to the first side of the first plate; (b) a bolt-type fastener for attaching the second object to the second side of the first plate, the fastener passing through the first aperture and being capable of rotating about its axis; (c) a rod for rotating the fastener about its axis; and (d) a small second plate for preventing movement of the apparatus relative to the second object, the second plate being perpendicular to and attached to the first plate. There are also provided a method for connecting a vibratory mechanism to a steamship truck container and a method for vibrating a steamship truck container.
