摘要： Le clip de retenue décrit (32) sert à maintenir en position fixe une carpette (54) par rapport à un tapis de sol (56) en particulier dans une automobile. Le clip de retenue (32) est formé d'une seule pièce en matériau résilient de forme généralement rectangulaire, dans une première partie duquel a été pratiquée une découpure, laquelle comporte une série de parties coupées en V (40) à une extrémité et un élément de réglage à l'autre extrémité. Le clip de retenue (32) comprend en outre deux éléments pointus (30) coupés le long de chaque bord d'une seconde partie du clip. Le clip de retenue est ensuite estampé de sorte que son extrémité adjacente aux parties coupées en V (40) se courbe, faisant ainsi saillir les parties coupées en V (40) pour former des dents (18), et les deux éléments pointus (30) sont courbés de façon à se déplacer latéralement formant ainsi deux branches (36). Le clip de retenue est ensuite plié sur lui-même pour former un U. Pendant l'utilisation, les deux branches (36) pénètrent dans le dossier (56) du tapis, assurant ainsi l'ancrage du clip de retenue (32) au tapis.

摘要： A retainer clip (32) to fixedly position a mat (54) relative to an underlying carpet (56) particularly suited to automotive environments. The retainer clip (32) is formed from a single piece of generally rectangularly shaped resilient material which has a cut-out in a first portion thereof, the cut-out including a series of V-cuts (40) at one end and a control member at the other end. The retainer clip (32) further has two pointed members (30) cut along each edge of a second portion thereof. The retainer clip is then stamped so that the end thereof adjacent the V-cuts (40) is bent thereby causing the V-cuts (40) to erupt as teeth (18), and the two pointed members (30) are bent so as to be laterally displaced, thereby forming two prongs (36). The retainer clip is then bent on itself to form a U-shape. In operation, the two prongs (36) are caused to enter the carpet backing (56) in order to anchor the retainer clip (32) thereto.

The device has a body, at least one pin movably coupled to the body for securing the body to a support surface, and an actuator coupled to the body and arranged to move the pin between a first position and a second position. The body may have a cavity and the pin may be movable between a first position where the pin is recessed within the cavity and a second position where the pin protrudes out of the cavity for securing the body to a support surface. In one embodiment, the device is a clip for releasably holding an object, such as paper, to the support device.

The mounting prong is movable between a safety position with an insertion end of the prong substantially flush against the first clamping member and an in-use position with the insertion end spaced from the first clamping member to facilitate insertion of the mounting prong into the adjacent object.

摘要： A clip configured to secure a floor mat to the interior floor of an automobile. The clip includes a recess in which a peripheral edge of the floor mat is captured, and a lip which engages an aperture provided in the floor mat. The clip is able to accommodate a wide variety of floor mats in a manner that essentially eliminates the potential for the floor mat to shift on the floor of the automobile, substantially without regard to the thickness of the floor mat. In an alternate embodiment, the clip is anchored to the interior floor of the automobile in the same manner but is provided with a post member which is adapted to be secured within an aperture provided in the floor mat. In addition, extensive flexing and bending of the clip is not necessary to secure the floor mat, such that the clip is capable of repeated use. The structure and manufacture of the clip is uncomplicated, such that the clip is relatively inexpensive to manufacture.
