摘要： The system and method of the present invention completes at least two calls originating from terminal equipment located at a premises and connected by a point-of-attachment having a single phone number to a public switched telephone network where a dial tone is provided to the premises. Multiple calls are now allowed with an analog interface to the public switched telephone network. At least two calls and control channel are combined into a modulated analog signal having a separate channel for each call and transmitted through a modulation/demodulation device as a modulated analog signal to the public switched telephone network. The modulated analog signal is split into respective calls and control channel. Each call is forwarded to a respective remote device based on the identity information and auxiliary information received through the control channel.

Diese Schalteinrichtung enthält ein bistabiles Relais (K) mit zwei Relaiswicklungen. Zum Aufbau der Verbindung wird ein erster, als Ladungsspeicher dienender Kondensator (C1) über die erste Wicklung des Relais (K) entladen und über einen Relaiskontakt (k) die Einschaltung der Fernsprecheinrichtung (FE) bewirkt. Zur Auflösung der Verbindung wird die Leitungsspannung kurzzeitig unterbrochen. Dies hat zur Folge, dass ein Schaltglied (Relais L oder Transistor) angesteuert wird und sich ein zweiter Kondensator (C2) über die zweite Wicklung des Relais (K) entlädt und den Relaiskontakt (k) rücksetzt. Die Notrufanlage lässt sich mit ausserordentlich geringem Aufwand aufbauen und da keinerlei ständig geschlossene Parallelzweige zwischen den beiden Zweigen der Leitung notwendig sind, fliesst kein Ruhestrom über die Leitung.

摘要： In a method for optimizing the use of a telephone network including the steps of assigning telephone numbers to a first group of users within a geographical area, assigning telephone numbers to a second group of users outside of said geographical area and interconnecting together all the users of said first and second groups through telephone lines, such that each user is connected to at least one telephone line, and switches, whereby one of the users may telephone another user by dialling the telephone number of the other user, thus opening a communication between said user and said other user. The improvement includes the additional steps of assigning another telephone number to a primary user in the first group of users on an existing telephone line of the primary user, redirecting any communication directed to the other telephone number of the primary user to a secondary user in the second group of users by programming a call forward command on the other telephone number thus directing a telephone call to the telephone number of the secondary user, such that the secondary user in the second group of users may be telephoned by dialling the other telephone number of the primary user in the first group of users. The improved method preferably further includes the additional step of publishing a directory of all of the telephone numbers of the first group of users within the urban centre, whereby the other telephone number of the primary user refers to the secondary user.
