    • An electronic switch keyboard for typewriters or office machines includes a multiple switch at selected key positions to provide two signal inputs to a utilization device. A first capacitor switch is actuated to provide a first signal upon initial key depression and a second contact switch, common to all selected key positions, is actuated to provide a second signal upon further key depression at the selected key positions. A ground plane forms a portion of the contact switch and further serves to reduce parasitic capacitance and to shield the capacitive switches from stray electrical noise occasioned by the contact switch or other electrical inputs. A dielectric material is used to accurately separate the ground plane from the capacitive switch and further serves as a force spreading device for the contact switch. When the keyboard is used in conjunction with a typewriter, the first signal may be used to effect character selection and printing and the second signal to effect repeated printing of the same character. Consistent with prior mechanical typewriter keyboards, three increasing levels of force are required to be overcome as the key is depressed: a pretravel force, a first switch actuation force, and a second switch actuation force.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crew detection sensor capable of suppressing costs to lower than those in the conventional case, and exactly performing a seated state of a crew, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A crew detection sensor has: a contact pressure sensor part which is arranged approximately in parallel with a seating face part 24a of a seat 20, and includes one or more counter electrodes (an upper electrode 14 and a lower electrode 15) to which a pair of electrodes are arranged so as to face at a predetermined interval; an electrostatic capacity measurement part 42 which measures first electrostatic capacity to be generated between the mutual counter electrodes, and second electrostatic capacity to be generated between a main electrode and the ground; and a crew discrimination part 43 which discriminates a seated state of a crew on the basis of the first electrostatic capacity and the second electrostatic capacity. According to the structure, since the crew discrimination part 43 discriminates the seated state of the crew on the basis of the first electrostatic capacity and the second electrostatic capacity, the seated state of the crew is exactly discriminated.

    • An apparatus for automatically improving image quality of a liquid crystal panel and an operating method thereof improve lowering of the image quality du to voltage drop without controlling a common voltage manually by modulating a pulse width of a data voltage and a pulse width of a gate voltage through changing the driving frequency. An apparatus for automatically improving image quality includes a voltage drop sensing unit(310) and a driving frequency controlling unit(320). The voltage drop sensing unit senses voltage drop values from difference between the data voltage supplied to the pixel and the pixel voltage charged by the data voltage. The driving frequency controlling unit changes the driving frequency according to the sensed voltage drop value. The driving frequency controlling unit is composed of the resistances for each frequency including a connection switch. The driving frequency is changed by automatically connecting the switch of the resistance corresponding to the sensed voltage drop value.
