    • A time-multiplexed switched capacitor circuit in which certain capacitors are shared during local time periods of a global time period to allow the total capacitance of the circuit to be reduced. Corresponding savings in chip area in an integrated circuit implementation and component savings in a discrete implementation may be achieved. The invention is particularly applicable to a multiplexed circuit comprising an array of capacitors including first and second common capacitors and first and second pluralities of capacitors. The capacitors may be switched into and out of the multiplexed circuit during different local time periods. The first common capacitor may be switched into the circuit when any one of the first plurality of capacitors is involved in the operation of the multiplexed circuit thus reducing the size of that one capacitor of the first plurality of capacitors. In a similar fashion, the first and second common capacitors may be switched into the circuit when any one of the second plurality of capacitors is involved in the operation of the multiplexed circuit.

    • An apparatus includes a switching circuit, an integrator circuit having an input for receiving a first signal from the switching circuit, a sensing circuit having an input for receiving a second signal from the integrator circuit, and a control circuit having an input for receiving a third signal from the sensing circuit and an output for sending a fourth signal to the switching circuit. In certain applications, the integrator circuit includes a first integrator and a second integrator having an inverting terminal connected to an inverting terminal of the first integrator. The second integrator also includes a non-inverting terminal connected to an output of the first integrator through a first capacitor, and an output connected to a non-inverting terminal of the first integrator through a second capacitor.

    • PURPOSE:To set an output of an integrator to set voltage instantaneously, by providing an output of the integrator to one input of a comparator, applying set voltage to the other input, and connecting said output to an input of the integrator. CONSTITUTION:A switch 14 is opened and a switch 15 is closed by a switching signal from a terminal 18. Output voltage of a comparator 17 becomes a low level in case when output voltage of an integrator is smaller than set voltage VR, and since it is smaller than comparison voltage E of the integrator, the output voltage of the integrator is increased. When the output voltage of the integrator exceeds the set voltage, the output voltage of the comparator 17 becomes a high level, and the output voltage of the integrator is decreased. As for this operation, its response speed is decided by a time constant decided by a capacitor 8 and a resistor 16, and a through rate of the comparator 17, and the operation is completed instantaneously.
