摘要： The present disclosure relates to a dual hybrid electromagnet module for controlling a microrobot. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to an electromagnetic field system in which a dual hybrid electromagnet module including a permanent magnet and an electromagnet is used for controlling a microrobot so that it is possible to reduce the number of used electromagnets so as to reduce power consumption and the amount of heat generated from the electromagnet module. The electromagnetic field system is capable of being used for various medical procedures and surgeries using a microrobot.

The permanent interconnections to adjacent unit cells include mechanical output structures driven by mechanical actuators. One or more sensors are preferably utilized, such as utilizing a sensing mode of the actuator, for detecting forces and or displacements applied to the unit cell. The unit cells are each controlled by a control circuit for generating drive signals to the actuators in the unit cell so that desired mechanical properties and/or shapes are exhibited by the microarchitectured material.

A method of performing a robotically assisted medical procedure is also provided, including positioning at least one robotic unit inside a patient's body, moving the robotic unit on a bodily surface inside the patient's body by transmitting commands thereto via a control device that is positioned remotely from the at least one robotic unit, and actuating at least one medical tool positioned on the robotic unit via the control device.
